Jonathan Cronstedt blogs about habits for the blogging challenge
The blogging challenge is a great way for me, Jonathan Cronstedt, to share some of my habits with you, so that you get to know a little more about me.
For me, I’ve found that a certain mantra and mindset has helped me in getting things done and staying in action: Doing the hardest thing first. This may surprise those of you who rely on to-do lists, but listen to my musings on this topic on my video blog and read the details below and you will see how it helps me.
Doing your first task for the as soon as you wake up, especially if it is the hardest thing you do, you create motivation for the rest of the day.
I hate exercising, I make deals with myself to make sure I workout but it is often easy for me to make another deal with myself to skip exercising. But by doing the hardest thing first, I am able to wake up earlier each day with my workout clothes already laid out and I jump start my day. With some sort of exercise, I’m motivated to take on the day and accomplish more.
What is the hardest thing for you? Would you agree with me on doing the hardest thing first?
